37 MM Park, Sammlung zum 2. Weltkrieg

Located 12 km from Strasbourg, this unique European exhibition covers over 7,000 m² with a vast WWII collection: hundreds of mannequins, armored vehicles, motorcycles, personal items, a plane, and a German patrol boat afloat. The Free French secret services are featured via the Plan Sussex collection. A play area includes flight simulators, a rope course, and an air rifle range. Screening room, meeting rooms, shop, bar, and snack service complete the site.

38 Musée Bunker
PC Reimerswiller

Bunker on Rue des Celtes in Reimerswiller: divisional artillery command post with two structures, one for communications and one for command. Museum at 4 Rue des Potiers: two rooms, one on Operation Nordwind, the other on military service from 1945 to today. Display case with authentic items: helmets, jackets, maps, and various equipment.

39 Gedenkmuseum der Kämpfe um den Colmarer Kessel – Winter 1944/45

This Memorial Museum, located in a vaulted cellar of Turckheim’s old presbytery (18th century), recounts the fierce battles to liberate the Colmar Pocket in winter 1944-45. It displays weapons, uniforms, photos, mannequins of German, American, and French armies, plus models of tanks and aircraft. It honors veterans and helps preserve this important historical heritage.

40 Musée Mémorial Walbourg 1870-1945

A unique sensory museum in Alsace covering 1870 to 1945. Over 7,000 authentic local objects displayed across 462 m². Features include 11 sound stations, period scents, 2 screening rooms, and a library. Realistic, immersive scenography across about 20 thematic scenes. Personalized tours highlight local history and everyday life during wartime.

41 Nécropole Nationale de Sigolsheim

Die Soldatengräberstätte Sigolsheim wurde nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg vom Marschall de Lattre de Tassigny gegründet. Auf 18.285 m² ruhen 1.589 Soldaten, darunter 792 Maghrebiner und 15 jüdische Soldaten. Auf dem Blutberg gelegen, steht nahe ein 1995 errichtetes amerikanisches Denkmal. Die Stätte verbindet Erinnerung mit der Schönheit der elsässischen Weinberge.

42 Le Lieu d’Europe

The Lieu d’Europe is a space for European citizenship education. It offers insight into EU institutions, European history, and Strasbourg’s role. With a permanent exhibition, resource center, and meeting spaces, it promotes democratic values, peace, human rights, and cultural diversity while fostering dialogue and connecting citizens with European institutions.

40 Mémorial Alsace-Moselle

The Alsace-Moselle Memorial tells the unique story of a border region shaped by Franco-German conflicts. An immersive exhibition presents repeated nationality changes, annexation by the Third Reich (1940–1945), and the violence of totalitarian rule. The visit ends with the Franco-German reconciliation and European integration, delivering a universal message of peace, unity, and respect for diversity.
