Children's day party at Dömitz Fortress (DE)

On Sunday, 22 June 2025, a large public children's festival will take place at Dömitz Fortress from 11 am to 4 pm.
Lots of fun is guaranteed with slides, obstacle courses, games, arts and crafts, music and dancing. Sweet and savoury refreshments are also provided in between.
This year's KindertagsSause is once again a joint project of the town of Dömitz, the Dömitz-Malliß office and the LuK e.V. initiative.
Admission is free.
Dömitz Fortress
Dömitz Citadel is the oldest and most characteristic building in the town of Dömitz. It is the only completely preserved Renaissance pentagonal fortress in northern Germany and is one of the best-preserved lowland fortresses in northern Europe. Fortified with high brick walls, bastions, casemates and a drawbridge, the fortress impresses every visitor. The imposing bulwark on the banks of the Elbe in Mecklenburg stretches out in the shape of a pentagon. This important cultural monument provides an insight into its eventful past and takes visitors on an exciting journey.
