694th Büdingen Gallus Market

From 25 to 27 September 2026, the fortress town of Büdingen will be transformed into a colourful marketplace: For the 694th time, the Gallusmarkt invites you to three days full of music, culinary delights and socialising. Over 100 market stalls, varied entertainment and many programme highlights make this traditional festival a crowd-puller in the region.

The market square becomes a festival mile with the central, open tent.

On Sunday, 27 September 2026, Büdingen's shops will open their doors to visitors. From 13:00 to 18:00 you can stroll through the shops and benefit from the special offers of Büdingen's businesses.

In addition to a children's carousel, the „Auf dem Damm“ area is home to various entertainment businesses. The result is a mixture of traditional market with high entertainment value.

The Gallusmarkt has been firmly anchored in the fortress town's calendar for almost seven centuries. In 2026, it will once again bring together businesses, clubs, traders, showmen and citizens in a joint festival that brings the special atmosphere of Büdingen to life.
