3rd International High Jump Meeting in the Spandau Citadel

This year's high jump meeting promises to be a very special event, and the organisers, TSV Spandau 1860, are already looking forward to welcoming you all!

At 10.00am, Spandau primary school girls with and without hearing impairments will compete together for the 2nd Primary School High Jump Championships. There will be individual and team competitions.

At 12:00 noon, the junior squad of the German Athletics Association, led by Kira Kalb, the reigning U18 European champion, and the winner of the Youth Olympics, Ella Obeta, will compete together with the deaf women. European champion Iris Breginska from Slovenia has confirmed her participation.

In both competitions, people with and without disabilities demonstrate their abilities. This is currently unique in Germany.

The women's world elite will then jump at 14:00. This year's field will be led by the reigning Asian champion from Kazakhstan, Kristina Ovchinnikova, and the Olympic finalist from Paris, Buse Savaskas, from Turkey. The national elite will be represented by Bianca Stichling, the reigning German indoor champion, and Johanna Göring, the third-placed athlete.

As the season is still very young, there is no favourite and it promises to be an exciting competition.
