As\u00a0D\u00f6mitz Fortress<\/em>\u00a0is the name given to the citadel of the former fortified ideal town of D\u00f6mitz. Built between 1559 and 1565, it is now the only completely preserved Renaissance fortress in northern Germany.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
